Essential Duties
The employee must have strong knowledge of the philosophy and objectives of community recreation, specifically of recreation programming; exceptional leadership, supervisory and problem-solving skills required; knowledge and hands on experience with children in a variety of settings. Must have the ability to work on own initiative without close supervision or guidance, good organizational skills, effective oral and written communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a bachelor's degree in recreation or a field directly related to the needs of the assigned position, and one (1) year of related work experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
