Parks and Recreation Lead Aide

Parks and Recreation Lead Aide - Drop-in Child-Care programs duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Planning, leading and supervising diversified recreational programs and services including structured and unstructured programs and activities for primarily youth ages 3-8 in a recreation setting
• Activities include games, sports, arts and crafts and special events
• Supervise, discipline and all aspects of programming
• Greets customers and monitors program areas
• Enforces facility policies and procedures
• Physically sets up rooms including tables, chairs and recreation equipment maybe required
• Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on then current workloads and department needs.

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED, or must possess certification in a related field, or 3 months of related experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
