Parks and Recreation Aide - Recreation Center Support

Parks and Recreation Aide – Recreation Center staff duties could include, but not be limited to:

• Planning, leading and supervising diversified recreational programs and services including activities for all ages in a multi-use recreation center
• Greet customers and monitors program areas
• Enforce facility policies and procedures
• Physically sets up rooms including tables, chairs and recreation equipment
• Assist with preschool, youth, teen and adult populations
• May assist where needed to help build a comprehensive fitness program and wellness activities
• May transport patrons in a city vehicle
• Assist with monitoring facility areas such as gyms and game rooms
• Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on the current workloads and department needs.
