We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Kid Kare Supervisor. This role involves overseeing the Drop-in Kid Kare program at the Ashburn Recreation & Community Center. Responsibilities include planning and executing daily activities, scheduling, training, and supervising staff interactions with both children and parents as they utilize the center's amenities and engage in activities. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, have a passion for working with youth, and demonstrate the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

• Ashburn Recreation & Community Center, Ashburn, VA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Oversees drop in Kid Kare programs and supervise staff in performance and responsibilities.
• Plan, design and develop programs that meet the needs of the children.
• Prioritize the health, safety, and customer service standards to all our external and internal customers.
• Ensures effective and professional communication with parents, site personnel, and staff when addressing parents' inquiries and requests.
• Other key job functions related to the specific role and department assignment may also be performed as necessary.
*Work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday.
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a child-related field such as Elementary Education, Nursing, or Recreation; one (1) year of program experience supervising children or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree preferred in a related field and six (6) months of program experience supervising children and additional staff.
