We are currently looking for eligible candidates to fill the full-time position of Assistant Manager at the Eastern Loudoun Adult Day Center. The Eastern Loudoun Adult Day Center serves older adults with cognitive impairment in a social model, activities-based program from 7:30AM-5:30PM, Monday - Friday. The Assistant Manager will be tasked with overseeing customer services and care; supervising facility cleanliness and safety; assisting in recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff; overseeing fiscal budget and monitoring Center’s expenses; developing, promoting, and implementing programs and events for Center; and ensuring quality and diversity of programs for older adults with cognitive impairment.
We are currently hiring for the following location(s):
• Eastern Loudoun Adult Day Center, Ashburn, VA
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supervises, trains and assists staff on best practices of dementia care to include activity programming and personal care in a DSS licensed program.
* Completes initial and on-going participant care plans and assessments
* Oversees and Supervises Medication Administration Program and Personal Care Assistance
* Completes monthly data entry utilizing case management software.
• Coordinates and assists with the implementation of events and programs at the Center.
• Coordinates the maintenance operations of the Center facility.
• Oversees customer service operations.
• Coordinates the staffing arrangements for the center.
• Carries out other assigned tasks, including stepping into various positions during instances of staff shortages and emergencies.
Bachelor's degree in Recreation or Leisure Services, Social Work, Gerontology or related field; two (2) years related work experience in program and facility management working with the public, working with the frail elderly or special populations, groups, and organizations including one (1) year of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
