Deputy Director

Reston Community Center (RCC) seeks an accomplished professional to fill the role of Deputy Director for the agency. Under the minimal supervision of the Executive Director, oversees Customer Service delivery; facilities development, maintenance and utilization; and development, implementation and utilization of agency technology/management information systems. The Deputy Director is responsible for administrative and capital project planning and execution strategies; implementation of technology and related software to assure RCC administrative functions comply with all applicable County, State and Federal financial and security requirements; and assures that customer services are delivered in effective, efficient and reliable formats, with friendly, respectful and supportive service practices. RCC is a Commission on Accreditation for Recreation and Parks Association (CAPRA) accredited agency with an annual budget of approximately $9.3 million.

Note: The starting salary will not exceed the midpoint of the advertised compensation range. Promotional rules apply for current Fairfax County Government and Fairfax County Public Schools employees.
