We're seeking qualified applicants for the regular part-time After-School Academy Leader position. After-School Academy is a highly respected after-school program serving Loudoun County's elementary-aged youth. Our team embraces the uniqueness of each child, inclusive of all individual abilities or needs. After-School Academy Leader assists in the planning and implementation of recreational activities such as indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, holiday-themed and special projects, as well as quieter activities like snacks and homework time for children.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required, along with at least six (6) months of experience working with children in a program setting. Complete education and experience requirements to meet Virginia license requirements for position.
Pass pre-employment fingerprinting and Child Protective Services (CPS) background checks. First Aid (Infant through Adult)/CPR certifications before or immediately after hire. Successfully pass a TB test within 30 days of starting employment, and then every year following that. Must be willing to attend paid annual programmatic training during the school year to enhance skills and knowledge of school-aged childcare and programming. Must be physically able to keep up with participants and lift 50 pounds.
